METHOD FOR CALCULATING ENERGY CHARACTERISTICS OF SEA WAVE ENERGY CONVERTER DURING WAVE OSCILLATION PERIOD

The use of efficient and environmentally friendly methods for electricity generation is one the main concerns in field energy. advantages disadvantages wave energy power plants are well-known continuously researched. There many approaches converting into electrical energy, each with its own disadvantages, designed different converter constructions utilizing various approaches. This article presents a simple scheme that converts cylindrical buoy oscillations aim this work to develop methodology calculating characteristics converter, consisting buoy, pulley, magneto-electric generator, using average indicators generator. proposed utilizes single three-phase generator resistors as consumer. sea surface oscillation represented by sine higher harmonics. balance equation forces acting on formulated, taking account ratio moment rotor speed. An iterative calculation used determine optimal speed maximize consumption power. To establish resistor's resistance, steady-state operation modes over period used. then modeled an resistor resistance specified variable period. absorbed amplitude 1 meter 10 seconds, studied.
